Apparently I've gained too much weight in my pregnancy thus far. I had a doctor's appointment on Monday (not MY doctor, unfortunately - he wasn't there I don't believe), and it was made very clear to me that I'm fat. I was even shown my chart, which shows my steady weight gain over the last 28 weeks. I was told to watch my portion sizes, to control what I eat. Basically, without using the specific words, I need to diet.
So feeling so wonderful about myself, I went and had lunch. A lot of it. No, not really....just an entire order of chicken nachos from Margarita's Mexican Grill - one of my favorite restuarants in Milledgeville. Then I came home and celebrated Austin's birthday by eating several pieces of his birthday cake. Yay me!
Tuesday I decided to get on the Wii fit and do some step exercises. It wasn't too bad. My feet and legs were pretty swollen afterwards, and I was tired, but it wasn't horrible. I'm going to try to do it several times a week, and watch what I eat. I'll admit that I've gained a good bit of weight, but dang, I'm pregnant....what's a better time to do it? It could have been addressed better anyway.
So...watch out folks. Big fat pregnant lady coming through!
