The end of an era

It's been an emotional day; today was Jonathan's last day of Pre-K. Exciting, yet a bit sad...I'll miss the people from his school that I've come to love...luckily I'll be able to keep in touch with them on facebook and by other means.

I took a picture of him before school this morning, remembering that I'd taken one on his first day of school this year. So, in comparison, here's today's picture and the picture from Pre-K day 1.

One more picture of Jonathan, Mrs. Johnson, Mrs. Kimbrough, and Mrs. Tucker

Jonathan and "Ms. Colleen", who Jonathan MUST see each afternoon for a spin before he'll even consider getting in the car with me....so of course, it had to happen on his last day of school!

It's been a great year; Jonathan has learned SO MUCH, and I'm really proud of him. It's hard to think about him being somewhere else next school year, but I know we'll adjust. But there are just some people that you never forget, and the Early Learning Center folks are some of them. I'm pretty sure, though, that they feel the same way about Jonathan!

"Distance is not for the fearful, but for the bold. It's for those who are willing to spend a lot of time alone in exchange for a little time with the one they love. It's for those knowing a good thing when they see it, even if they don't see it nearly enough."
