Snow in Georgia?

The great state of Georgia got coated in a beautiful white covering today! The local weatherman said that it was coming, but nobody beleived him, because it NEVER snows here! But today, for the first time in their lives, Jonathan and Annah got to play in the snow. Interestingly enough, two of the first things Jonathan did were to fall onto the ground and make a snow angel (who taught him that?) and make a snowball and throw it at my butt.

The five of us went on a wintery walking adventure through the woods and down the road, battling all sorts of creatures (Austin named them all, but I can't remember what he called them; however some included the Water Witch, the Driveway troll - I think, and some sort of dragon) along the way. The kids all had a blast, and after a while we went inside with frozen fingers and noses and warmed up by the fire.

The snow didn't last long, but long enough to make some memories. Yay for snow in Georgia!

love the new blog colors! i am still baffled that it snowed in Georgia that much and not a bit in Utah! But we are expecting a storm any day now : (
